My September Goals Roundup

Spread the love

September is over already! It’s been a busy one for me which is reflected in the fact that not all of my goals have gone to plan this month. Here’s my September goals roundup:

  1. Make £300 extra in side hustles – Grand total – £110

Breakdown – £50 Virtual Assistant

£37 – Ebay

£23 – Matched betting

I am disappointed I didn’t make more, but having been back to work and then 2 long weekends away I just did not have time to do any more! October should be fairly calm in comparison though so I am hoping to get back on track then. As I’ve said before, side hustles like Matched Betting and Ebay take time and effort – you need to put this in to reap the rewards! My VA work running Twitter for a business takes 20-30 mins per day so I always make this my first priority. Sometimes I’m really not in the mood for it, but I know I’m being paid for it so I *have* to make the effort. I’m going to try and take this attitude with my other side hustles to make myself stick at them after a long day!

  1. Develop and stick to an evening routine

I have definitely got better at this – the cleaning is in a regular routine but doesn’t always work after a long day at work. Using my timer for 30 mins per side hustle has worked really well, I just need to up the times that I actually do the side hustles full stop!

  1. Add swimming to my weekly fitness routine

This has not happened unfortunately ☹ I already work out 3 times a week and can’t seem to find a slot that would work for swimming around everything else. I am going to keep it in mind even if I don’t add it to next month’s goals and hopefully fit it in somewhere if somhing else changes.

  1. List 50 items on EBay

I have 50 items listed on eBay as of now, but a lot of them have been on there for a while and don’t seem to be shifting, but have only had chance to list the last few over the last few days so we shall see if it has any affect. I hear that 50 seems to be the magic number in terms of achieving regular sales.

  1. Blogging Goals

Yay, finally some success! Firstly, I wanted to consistently post twice a week. I know I couldn’t cope with any more, and what I found really hepful was writing down a calendar spread for the month and deciding where the posts would go. I did make a few changes along the way but it really helped to focus me and also know when I needed posts written for.

My 2nd blogging goal was to hit 1k followers on Instagram which I smashed! I currently have 1229 followers compared with 776 at the beginning of the month. I did a 1k giveaway competition once hit 900 and it really boosted my numbers. The prizes I gave away were all from Poundland, Home Bargains and the Range and cost me no more than about £15. I also threw in a few new, unused cosmetics I had that were no use to me anyway. It was a great collection of little prizes though and I got a massive response from it, all for around the same cost as a sponsored ad. I will definitely run more giveaways in future and I would recommend it as a way of increasing your followers.

Stay tuned for my October Goals which will be published tomorrow!
