Asda Cafe Offers: Latest Deals (July 2023)
Asda cafe offers a number of money saving deals for its customers. When you’re out and about doing the grocery shopping, supermarket cafes are the ideal place for shoppers to grab a quick bite and recharge. They have enjoyed a surge of popularity in recent years due to the fact that they generally offer great value menus in comparison to other chains of high street cafes.
The fact that they are located within store makes them even more convenient – you don’t even have to unload your trolley before tucking in! They also tend to have a range of special offers and discounts available, such as Kids Eat free or for £1.
In this post we’ll look at the Asda cafe offers currently available, as well as ways to maximise the offers when teamed with other Asda schemes.
Asda Cafe Offers and Deals – Latest
Current offers – Last updated 10th July 2023
All Asda Cafe Adult Meals half price after 3pm
From Friday 30th June 2023, all adult main meals will be half price – starting from £3.12 from 3pm onwards.
A family of four can eat out as little as £8.50 with *the adult menu including some popular favourites including Steak and Ale Pie, served with mash and peas (£3.25), Fish and Chips (£3.25) Chicken Tikka Masala (£3.25), Mac & Cheese (£3.12), Lasagne with Garlic Bread and Salad (£3.25), Scampi, Chips and Peas (£3.25) and Sweet Potato and Spinach curry (VE) (£3.12).
This offer will run until 4th September 2023.
Kids Eat Free with every adult’s meal purchased
Currently, Kids can eat free when an adult spends £4. This is valid for the hot meals selection, as well as the cold sandwich “pick and mix”.
The times at which this offer is valid seem to change frequently; I have simultaneously seen this offer listed as both “All Day, Every Day” and Monday – Friday after 3pm only on the Asda website.
This indicates that the offer probably changes according to your local branch as well as by season so be sure to check online first. You can view your local Asda cafe menu by selecting the branch in the store finder.
Express Diner only – 16” Pizza for £4 after 3pm
Asda cafés which have an Express Diner format will offer a whole 16” pizza for just *£4 from 3pm onwards from this Friday until the 4th September 2023.
Pizza Slice Deal
Currently, customers can enjoy a pizza slice, chips and a regular drink (hot or cold) for £5.35. A 100ml tub of Ben and Jerry’s can be added on for an additional £1.80.
Pizza Family Deal
You can also get a whole 16” pizza, 4 sides, a 1.25l bottle of soft drink and a tub of Ben & Jerry’s for £15.99. As Asda cafe is available on takeaway services such as Just Eat and Deliveroo, this could make a much more affordable family takeaway than some of the other pizza chains.
However, having just announced the 16″ pizza for £4 deal (see above), this may work out even better value.
Hot Sandwich Meal Deal
Asda cafe customers can also enjoy any toastie or panini, crisps, chips or side salad and a drink for £5.35.
Sweet Treat Deal
Add a sweet treat to any hot drink for £1.60. As prices for cakes go up to £3.20, this means shoppers can enjoy a sweet treat for up to half the usual price with a hot drink purchase.
10% off for over 60’s
Currently, over 60’s can enjoy 10% off their meals every Wednesday. As the menu may fluctuate by region, you can download your local menu by selecting your branch on the Asda website.
Free Ella’s Kitchen Baby Food
A free pouch of Ella’s Kitchen baby food is available for free with any purchase.
Previously Available Asda Cafe Offers
Although these offers are currently unavailable, they may be back in the near future. This also gives you an idea of the types of Asda cafe deals that may be on offer again.
Over 60’s Meal Deal
Asda launched its Winter Warmer campaign in 2022 where over 60s could enjoy a soup, a roll and unlimited cups of tea for £1. This offer was valid from Nov 2022 until March 2023, hopefully it will be re-introduced for Autumn 2023.
Ways to maximise your savings in Asda Cafe
Look out for cafe Missions with Asda Rewards
If you are shopping in Asda, it makes sense to register for an Asda Rewards card. Although you don’t automatically earn Asda rewards on every spend, Asda instead offer “Missions” to accumulate Rewards. From time to time these may include cafe spend missions, so be sure to check the app regularly to see if your cafe treats can earn you rewards.
