If you are a parent, the long UK school summer holidays can be a minefield in terms of keeping the kids entertained without blowing the budget.
Whether you’re jetting off on holiday, juggling childcare with a few days out, or a combination of everything, in this post I’ve rounded up the best content from the blog to save money this summer in one handy place.
Save up to 57% on days out with Kids Pass
Kids Pass is a monthly subscription app that gives you special discount codes to save money on cinema trips, theme parks, zoos, eating out and much more.
Check for discounted offers through apps and memberships
If you are eligible for a Blue Light Card, you are probably already aware of the offers available to you, but it’s worth checking the offers page regularly to see what has been added. To find out who is eligible and the offers available, check out the post below.
If you work in education, there are similar Discounts for Teachers available with proof of employment at an educational establishment. Even better, unlike Blue Light Card, these are free to join for eligible staff.
If you aren’t eligible for a discount scheme through your employer, don’t worry, as there are several apps available to all that offer discounts on days out.
M&S Sparks Days Out is available as part of the M&S Sparks Card loyalty scheme, which is free for anyone to join.
Lidl Plus App is also free to join and regularly has offers and discounts for days out, including discounted cinema tickets.
Although Tesco have recently caused controversy by decreasing the amount of Clubcard Points you can redeem against offers, this still remains a popular way to save money on hotels, food and days out. Find all the details in this post.
