Tesco cafe offers busy shoppers a well earned pit stop after a busy grocery shop, however supermarket cafes are an increasingly popular choice for customers even if they haven’t been shopping in store. They offer great value for money, particularly when there are special offers and meals deals on offer such as Kids Eat free r for £1.
The fact that they are located within store makes them even more convenient – you don’t even have to unload your trolley before tucking in!
In this post we’ll look at the Tesco cafe offers currently available, as well as ways to maximise the offers when teamed with other Tesco schemes.
Tesco Cafe Offers and Deals – Latest
Current offers – Last updated 10th July 2023
Currently, there are no live offers available at Tesco cafe, which is a shame as its Morrisons cafe and Asda cafe counterparts have plenty of deals and ongoing offers on their menus. However, Tesco have announced their Kids eat free offer will be back for the UK summer holidays. See below.
Grabbing lunch or a snack in Tesco’s cafe will still be significantly cheaper than the likes of the coffee house chains such as Starbucks or Costa, and there are a better range of hot meals.
This page will be updated regularly as new offers are released.
Coming Soon – Tesco Cafe Offers
Kids Eat Free with any adult purchase – confirmed for late July 2023
This offer is not currently live, although the wording on the Tesco Cafe website indicates it will be back for the school summer holidays. As the UK summer holiday dates vary, this is rather vague but expect it to be live by the end of July 2023 until early September.
With this offer, kids can enjoy a free hot meal or Pick n Mix sandwich meal with any adult cafe purchase. This could mean you only need to buy a cuppa to get a child’s free meal! Tesco cafe kid’s hot meals include mac and cheese, sausages, chicken goujons and fish fingers, all served with a choice of 2 sides and a drink.
This offer is valid Monday – Fridays only.
Ways to maximise your savings in Tesco Cafe
Collect Clubcard points
It makes sense to ensure you have your Clubcard to hand when purchasing items in the cafe, as you can earn points in the usual way. And with Clubcard Prices now in full force, it would be foolish to shop in Tesco without one.
Although to date there have not been any specific Clubcard Prices to allow Clubcard holders to get exclusive prices for the cafe, watch this space if anything changes.
