When is the Tesco Toy Sale in 2023?
Taking advantage of sale dates in the run up to Christmas and birthdays can be a great way to save money, particularly on toys. Parents and gift-givers alike are always on the lookout for the next big toy sale event, and supermarkets in particular are now well known to hold regular toy sales. For those wondering when the Tesco Toy Sale 2023 will take place, here’s what we know so far.
Tesco Toy Sale Dates 2023
Tesco typically holds two major toy sales per year, one in late March/early April and one in early October. The sales last several weeks, so it makes sense to take advantage early to get the best choice of stock. In addition to this, in 2022 it held a December clearance sale.
Tesco’s latest half price Toy Sale was held in-store and online in April 2023, with some limited stock still being discounted into May 2023.
The next Tesco Toy sale date is predicted to be early October 2023, just in time for early shoppers to get organised for Christmas.

Do I need a Clubcard to shop in the Tesco Toy Sale?
Somewhat surpringsly, yes. Similar to Tesco Clubcard prices that have been introduced in store, sale prices on all products are only accessible to Clubcard holders, otherwise you’ll pay the original full price.
This is a somewhat controversial move by Tesco, nevertheless it is free to sign up for a Clubcard via the app or website, so it makes sense to do so if you want to take advantage of sales and offers.

Tips for Shopping at the Tesco Toy Sale 2023
Get There Early
As with any popular sales event, it always pays to try and visit it as early as you can, by this I don’t mean camping outside at 5am (although we all know there are some crazy people who may do this!), but ideally you should aim to go in the first couple of days if you really want to take advantage of bargains from the whole range of offers. The longer the sales go on, the more lines they will sell out of. So, if you want to get the best deals, make sure you get there early.
