Sainsbury’s Tu Clothing Sale Dates 2023
Sainsbury’s TU clothing sales have been popular with shoppers for a number of years, including their very popular 25% off all clothing sales that used to occur several times a year.
However, in 2022 and 2021, although TU clothing sales did occur, this wasn’t the 25% off everything that customers had grown to anticipate.
Does Sainsbury’s TU Clothing still do 25 off sale?
It is not clear whether Sainsbury’s will bring back the 25% off sales for 2023, although they do still have regular TU clothing sales. Although not all clothing is included, discounted items can be as much as 50% off.
When is the next Sainsbury’s TU Clothing Sale?

Top tips to maximise your savings in the Sainsbury’s TU clothing sales
Sign up for emails for sales alerts
You can opt to sign up for marketing emails specifically from TU (rather than just Sainsbury’s) which should then alert you to any upcoming sales in good time, as well as the potential for other special offers.
Collect Nectar points
All TU clothing is eligible for Nectar Points so be sure to scan or enter your card details to accumulate points with your sale bargains. Currently, you can collect 1 point per £1 spent on TU clothing, which is the same value as other Sainsbury’s items such as groceries.
Tu Clothing Cashback
Although cashback apps such as Topcashback and Quidco do have Sainsbury’s offers, these are for groceries only and so cashback may not track for clothing purchases.
However, if you buy your TU clothing at Argos (more on that below), you can currently earn 2% cashback on Argos purchases with Airtime Rewards, up to 6% cashback from Quidco and up to 10% cashback for new customers at Topcashback. (1.5% for existing customers).
New Argos customers can also take advantage of the Topcashback offer below for £10 cashback on a £10+ spend at Argos:

Buy TU Clothing at Argos
As Sainsbury’s and Argos are now part of the same company, you can order TU clothing at Argos. There are several advantages to doing this. Firstly, as outlined above, there are more cashback offers available on Argos purchases which are valid for TU clothing. You can also earn Nectar points on these purchases at Argos.
You can also benefit from free next day click and collect with Argos, whereas Sainsbury’s free click and collect service generally takes 3-5 days to arrive in store.
Both shops charge £3.95 for home delivery, should you prefer.
On a practical level, if you find your size is sold out on the Sainsbury’s website, it’s always worth checking if Argos still have it in stock – whether or not both sites are updated from one central stock remains to be seen, but it’s worth a try if nothing else!
Make a list of what you need beforehand
For any sale, it can be easy to get carried away buying items you don’t actually need just because they are a bargain. I used to be a serial offender for this! Similarly, you can kick yourself for forgetting to look in a certain section and then remembering too late your daughter needed new school shirts, for example.
For this reason, it’s a good idea to keep a list of things you need so that you can look out for them as and when sales happen. I find this is particularly useful to keep track of the items my kids need, or if you have an event or holiday coming up and are on the lookout for specific items. I use the notes app on my phone to make my list so I know I will always have it when out and about.
Don’t buy items you don’t need just to qualify for an offer
I have a name for this – Freebie FOMO – fear of missing out on a bargain! Of course, there are definitely times when it makes sense to buy an extra item in order to get a bigger discount. But just be mindful of whether the offer is actually worthwhile to you.
If you find yourself buying things you don’t actually want just to save a percentage off – when it would have cost you less just to stick with your original purchase – then definitely walk away!
